A Closer Look

One of the many questions people have concerning this upcoming election is “Can we trust Mitt Romney?”. But the real question should be “Can we trust Barack Obama for four more years?”. One of Benjamin Franklin’s famous quotes is “Honest is the best policy.” Thomas Jefferson had this to say about honesty, “Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.” As Americans, we value honesty very highly. Trust is what builds relationships and successful endeavors, but there is no trust without honesty. Can we really trust Barack Obama with four more years?

Just What Exactly Is At Stake?

For some people, this upcoming election is just another Presidential election. For most of their lives a new President has meant very little. America hasn’t really had any major domestic obstacles for 65 years. Most Americans, including myself, never experienced the Depression, we didn’t have to stand in line for hours hoping to be able to be able to have a job that would provide just enough to feed our families. It has been a long time since even a small minority of Americans had to really struggle to feed themselves or their families. The Great Bear Rising Again

I recently read an article by the AP ridiculing Mitt Romney’s foreign policy plans, specifically his calling Russia our “greatest geo-political foe”. Many Americans believe the Soviet Union to be dead; and Communism and the threat of global war between America and her allies against Russia and her allies to be a threat of days gone by.
